Talha Abdul Rahman is an Advocate on Record at the Supreme Court of India. He graduated from the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) in 2008 and from St. Hilda’s College, University of Oxford (BCL) in 2009. He has written in the past for many reputed law and medical journals, and also occasionally contributed to Times of India and Huffington Post India. He was one of the members of the JS Verma Committee that led to the 2013 Criminal Law (Amendment) Act, 2013, and has also assisted Senior Advocate Gopal Subramaniam in many landmark cases, most recently being the Right to Privacy case. Currently, he is an independent advocate.
